Citroen Contract Hire - Finance Lease

Citroen Finance Lease from Bellamys London Citroen

Like Contract Hire, this is a long-term rental agreement but purely finance based.

Therefore the main features are:

  • The option of low initial outlay: usually 1 or 3 months advance rental.
  • Road Fund Licence and Roadside Assistance (Maintenance is not normally included but can be selected within the optional fleet management programs).
  • The Lessee (the user) agrees a "Balloon" value with Citroen Contract Motoring and this becomes the final payment of the lease.
  • At the end of the contract, the Lessee sells the vehicle to a third party as agents of Citroen Contract Motoring.
  • If the sale proceeds do not meet the "Balloon" payment the user must make up the difference i.e. the customer chooses the amount of risk taken within the limits set by Citroen Contract Motoring.
  • VAT implications are identical to Contract Hire.
  • Full Tax allowances are available over the contract period.
